The Metabolic Protocol
This is the medical visit where you organize it all and highly recommended having the comprehensive lab panel completed prior to your visit. We will cover your health, beauty, and wellness in detail. It can be done in clinic or through telemedicine. It’s collaborative, thorough, and builds a strong relationship between you, our staff and providers for the most personalized care.
Nutraceuticals
Our personalized line stretches from children to geriatric support, catching daily needs that slip through a rushed day when meals fall short to the most advanced metabolic fixes. We zero in on methylated, custom-blended, pure formulas that off-the-shelf vitamins just can’t match. Purchase in-office on online.
Hormone Therapy
When used thoughtfully, it can profoundly shape your life from teens to older age. In adolescence, it supports bone density, brain development, and emotional balance. For fertility, early hormone balance helps regulate cycles and boots egg or sperm production. As you age, therapy can stabilize metabolism and in your later years, optimized hormones can slow skin aging, preserve muscle mass, and protect heart health. Done right, it’s not just about vitality, it’s about longevity with quality. We offer delivery options tailored for you, focusing on bioidentical hormones closest to what you naturally produced.
Peptide Therapy
For metabolic wellness, peptide therapy resets your body’s own signals to jump start cellular function, insulin balance, fat burn, and energy hum. It’s a gentle nudge rather than a shove, coaxing cells back to rhythm without the rebounding effects of medication. It’s safest and best when in sync with a healthy diet, sleep routine, exercise, positive emotional balance, and collaboration with your medical provider. We link only with reputable pharmacies and labs for the best products and safety.
Weight Management
It isn’t just for people trying to shed a few pounds up to twenty or thirty. It’s a lifelong focus for metabolic health and wellness. Everyone’s ideal weight differs, and sometimes the slimmest number hides the poorest cardiovascular function. For women in menopause, the picture of health can quickly change, flaring inflammation and heart disease. By truly understanding your metabolic balance and using medications or peptides without doubt, you will see the picture when you feel better and your lab reflects it. It’s the whole body, not merely the scale.
Physiologic Insulin Resensitization
Through the use of Physician-Directed Physiologic Insulin Resensitization® (PIR), the physician can administer insulin more precisely, as a hormone rather than a drug. Using insulin in a manner that bio-mimics normal physiology, PIR® is designed to help physicians to reduce their patients’ insulin resistance, which may help blood sugar more readily enter each cell and be converted into energy. We are supporting Yoakum County Hospital as they are one of the first in the area to have this impressive technology and contribute to the FDA trial. For more information, please call our clinic.
“Start learning about improving your signals in all hormonal and cellular function. We are getting your cells, pulses, hormones aligned today for your health tomorrow. ”
MONITOR YOUR OWN RESULTS
Comprehensive Lab Panel
The basic routine yearly lab panel isn’t enough. We have to go deeper. This panel helps guide us in using appropriate meds, supplements, hormones and peptides as safely as possible while optimizing your health. We recommend our in-house lab for an economical way of approaching such a comprehensive panel.
Continuous Glucose Monitoring
We recommend Lingo or Stelo by Dexcom for continuous glucose monitoring for those who do not have diabetes. For those with and without diabetes, monitoring blood sugar helps you be more aware of your metabolic health and advancement of metabolic disease. For those with diabetes we recommend Eversence 365 day implantable device inserted in a clinic outpatient setting or the OTC dexcom 30 monitoring. All available using HSA/FSA and some are covered by your insurance. Ask our staff which is best for you.
Your Homework
Exercise
30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week….Are you doing it? We all have our favorite routine but please just get moving! Cardio is always a plus for heart health but to improve muscle strength, stimulate your metabolism, and build bone you need weight bearing activities like weight lifting. Find the balance and what is right for you. Mix it up. Have a friend keep you motivated. And most of all, see it as a must in your life! Exercise makes happy hormones, helps detox, clears your mind and keeps you feeling good in your clothes. Aim for 8,000 daiy steps outside of structured exercise for extra metabolic boosts.
Oura
Monitor vital biometrics including sleep stages and quality, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, body temperature, respiratory rate and activity levels. Optimize recovery, detect early signs of illness or stress and improve sleep hygiene. Make data-driven lifestyle adjustments and empower better daily decisions.
Red Light Therapy
Using near infrared and red wavelengths to penetrate the skin, it stimulates mitochondria to produce more ATP and cellular energy, improving oxygen use while reducing oxidative stress. For metabolic health and insulin sensitivity, this therapy helps optimize glucose uptake. It also lowers cytokine levels, boosts nitric oxide for better blood flow and vascular tone, and supports muscle recovery. Depending on device quality and penetration depth, emerging studies are now tracking its real impact on chronic inflammation.
Sauna
Not just a relaxing tradition, sauna is backed by modern science, showing promising links to metabolic wellness. Regular exposure triggers heat shock proteins enhancing cellular repair and curb inflammation. Finland studies report 4-7 times a week can lower risks of cardiovascular disease by up to 40% and improve insulin sensitivity. It boosts nitric oxide, raises heart rate much like exercise does, aiding in circulation. Research also looks at supporting lipid metabolism, stress relief through endorphin release, making it a valuable tool for lowering blood pressure.
CANCELLATIONS
All metabolic wellness visits require a $100 non-refundable deposit that will be charged at the time of booking except for lab visits. This amount will be applied to the final bill for your appointment.
